Energy Brigades in Tbilisi The Vaketili district is one of the poorest districts of the Georgian capital Tbilisi. During the last years, an active community organisation started to address many problems in the form of land allotments for poor families, a huge tree planting scheme and humanitarian support. The Georgian Energy Brigades were invited to work with volunteers of the Vaketili Community Organisation to improve window insulations for the poorest families in the district. This very successful initiative also integrates energy awareness raising training in its activities. |
